Beyond Development is a postgraduate training and reskilling programme to place highly-talented non-STEM Arab university graduates into the well-paid tech sector, with support through their initial employment. The programme is informed by changing industry needs, and is designed to be fully funded by employers, in keeping with Portland’s established self-sustaining model. Established with Young Business Leadership and in partnership with Eshkol Hasharon, the first cohort started in 2022, and a second in 2023, on track to place 100 graduates by the end of 2024.
